Until now, Type Race team threads have always been run by whoever happened to make their team's thread first. This has... mostly worked, but there have occasionally been problems with this FPTP system. That's where this forum comes in. Type Races start on the second Sunday of each month, which may fall anywhere between the 8th and 14th, meaning there is always at least one week to prepare. Here's how that time will be utilised: - 1st: Type Race teams are assigned and can be found either by visiting the Type Race page directly, or by the symbol on your Trainer Card. - 1st to 4th: This subforum will open, allowing anyone to post their proposed Type Race Team thread. Only one post may be made, so no multi-post setups and no replying. Editing is of course permitted. - 5th to 6th: All threads in the subforum will be locked, preventing further editing. A new thread will be made by SYSTEM listing the candidates for each team, along with a poll for each. You may only vote for your own team's poll. (Attempting to vote for another team's poll will simply be rejected) - 7th: Polls close. The most highly-voted thread for each team becomes the Type Race Team thread and will be moved to the main forum and unlocked. All other threads will be deleted. In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken by choosing at random. We encourage anyone who wants to lead their team to participate in this process, and hopefully this will lead to better Type Race Team threads and more cooperation.
