Project Sekai is opening beta testing for its English release. I do have some decision to make if I want to continue to play on the Japanese version or wait for the English release.
Here's what I listed the benefits and downsides:
Japanese version
Benefits:
-Already made a lot of progress (Level 61 with 9 4 stars. Cleared almost all songs at hard difficulty. All songs already unlocked.)
Downsides:
-Cannot understand dialog or during Virtual Lives due to language barrier
-Unable to purchase crystals via shop due to not having a credit card that's assigned to a Japanese address
English version
Benefits:
-Dialog/Virtual Lives sessions now understandable
-The ability to purchase crystals and use it to roll on premium gacha (Premium gacha can only use paid crystals, not free ones.)
Downsides:
-Lots of translation/grammar errors as of beta test. Not sure if this will be changed on final.
-Have to start over because transfer data from different servers is not possible
