Gwinn- So, as I was doing research into Pokemon professors for this, I noticed each of them have a specific area of study. Giovanni, as a Pokemon professor, happens to study genetically modified Pokemon, such as Mewtwo, Kyurem, and other man-made Pokemon. What inspired him to do this was when he was aiding Team Rocket in the genetics of Mew, they noticed how much they were mistreating the Pokemon. He interrupted an experiment, losing an arm in the process, and stole the Mew, which had also lost a limb. He genetically modified the Mew and spliced it with a Persian, and he now dons a robot limb (seen tucked into his pocket). I thought it would be fun to integrate Team Rocket into the story, and I hope you can see that in the way I sprited him!
