its fun watching old videos i used to watch a lot when i was younger it's cool lookin back to them now that im....like....sentient?? there's SO many details i keep noticing i never noticed before, even though these are videos i know almost like the back of my hand w/ how much i watched them before in particular it's a lot of auditory stuff that i remember the most, sequences of noises/sounds/words/music/etc, more than the visuals but a lot of new stuff i'm noticing is like, references to other things, or jokes that just didnt land/went over my head when i was younger i also rewatched someone play psychonauts and HOOOOOOOO BOY there was so much i missed when i experienced it a billion years ago fjdsklfdsalkfdsakl it holds up even better now it goes both ways, though, since i'm now able to pick up a lot more, uh, problematic things that I didn't really find issue with at the time or makes me overthink/realize kind of how uncomfortable things were, looking at them w/ an adult perspective (hence my pmd rambles jfskld) but uh. yeah it's cool it's just nice to see/learn new things ab stuff + being able to appreciate things differently i DEFO am appreciating the artistic aspects of stuff a lot more, thinking ab the physical creation of + artistic direction of stuff, stuff that ofc dont really cross ur mind as a kid it kind of gets annoying at times bc i feel like i get too distracted by the physical/technical/etc properties of it rather than taking it in for what it is but uh yeah its neat :V
