Even if it's faster, you don't have to check instantly the Pokémon you received, you can, like, click 5 to 10 fields (if not more) and then check. Like people checking their training bags to collect them (it's very fast to get those), you can collect your Pokémon whenever you want and send another one and click fields again. It's not a big deal, it's something that will take less than 30 secondes to do, and if your internet is slow you can always keep open another tab for that (I'm talking for computer, I don't know for other devices I don't use them so I don't know how that works)
