In all the gym retellings I tend to paraphrase what the gym leaders said so if a paragraph describing what a gym leader did seems to include more personality than the bare minimum, I probably paraphrased what the gym leader said. At the same time don't quote them on that as I tend to edit in parts that weren't in the original challenge and didn't originally say, and I tend to make what the gym leader said in past tense to mach the rest of the post. I also got the Darling badge but both the thread it was in, and the image for the badge was deleted. I battled it before I had this journal... I think.
