It doesn't matter if you're unsure if someone is breaking rules. You should still be reporting them, regardless.
It's not like we yell at people for reporting someone with uncertainty. All we'll do is inform them that it's fine and move on.
I know that but if a new user might not. People check the wiki for help and I just figured a small note about reporting rule breaking wouldn't hurt. Fair enough though, you're more experienced with this stuff. Ignore me, haha. ^-^'
I
think Garth was telling you this in response to your question because it's something you could put on the Rules page xD You asked if there was specific staff to contact to ask if something is rulebreaking, Garth says report anyway.
Speaking of the Rules page, maybe there could be some stuff on:
-the "heirarchy" of mods? basically, you probably shouldn't immediately jump to pming Niet/Garth first for most stuff (I know the staff roster goes into this, but it's probably relevant to the rules page anyway).
-a link to the
questions about site rules thread (the only one im sure about >>)
-maybe links/see also/related pages section with links to FAQs or staff roster or something like that??
-rules from other sections like trades? maybe?
-literally anything else that might help someone follow the rules or how to make reports or something?
idk im just kinda throwing stuff out there, though some are probably not that good and need feedback/more discussion I think ;3; Trying to think of what would help someone when they view that page. I think it's good to have the site rules all listed, but I think Uzumi really had a point.
If I weren't so lazy i'd put in the effort to learn how to edit the wiki and stuff but uh. I'm lazy so i figured I'd try to contribute through suggestions, sorry ;3;
