Zin, amidst the residual chaos of the battle's end, he had quietly taken the chance to scavenge some equipment from dead soldiers. It had turned up rather fruitful, if the somewhat bloody but sturdy bag filled with scratched but otherwise functional necessities and a set of decent lightweight leather armour had anything to show for it. Of course, there were things that dead bodies didn't always have, such as weapon maintenance kits. The equipment store provided it and the claws free of charge, something about the least he could do after the battle. There was something happening at the inn, which he'd rather prefer to avoid, if not just for the angel. He picked his way over to some forested land, hopefully not the same holy forest from before. That was plain uncomfortable. There was a glow of something, like a fire perhaps, shining in the darkness. Sleeping out in the wild wasn't so bad, and he vaguely wondered if they would like any company. Before he could think any more, he felt and heard what seems like a large explosion. Sidling through the trees, the first thing he noticed was the roast on an open flame, then the person by it; a fox or cat-person of sorts? "Ah. Um, hi. The explosion wouldn't have been you, by any chance?" He saw the stupidity in what he had just said the moment he said it. "Sorry, dumb question. Anyway, do you mind me joining you? I would've gone to the tavern, but there was something happening, and it just kind of...Never mind."
